Music was never meant to be endless scrolling

Put an album on.
Stay a while.

Salamandra is a deliberately minimal music player for whole albums. No skipping, no endless searching, no feed — put a record on and hear it the way it was meant to be heard.

Finally, an app that doesn’t keep pushing me to the next song.

Three principles

01

One album. Not a playlist.

Albums are meant to be heard whole — Salamandra plays them the way they were intended: from the first second to the last.

02

No skip button.

No swiping to the next song, no restless back and forth. Just play, pause, and the progress of the side.

03

No feed. No algorithm.

No recommendations, no autoplay into someone else’s playlists. What you put on is what you hear.

Cover Flow · Live preview

Browse instead of search. Play it in its original colour.

The cover flow is how you pick your music — visually, sleeve by sleeve, the way you would along a record shelf. And the disc on the platter carries the real pressing colour: Salamandra looks it up automatically via Discogs — translucent, marbled or splatter instead of plain black.

Your music

Connected, not dependent.

You can start right now: the Jamendo library and our demo album need no account and no subscription. And if you would rather bring your own collection, connect it.
