Salamandra brings the feeling of playing records to your digital music collection. A player for whole albums — with a calm interface, a visual album collection and an animated vinyl player.
The web app remains available as a legacy version, but will receive no further development. Our focus is on native apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The new apps have not yet been released.

Browse the Album Flow sleeve by sleeve or use the list view. Search and sort by album, artist or year. Choose your favourite Discogs pressing and save it: coloured, transparent, marbled or splatter — a stylised interpretation on your turntable.

Choose your turntable design, background and a light or dark appearance. Started albums wait at your saved position. The player shows the source and available format and quality information. The interface speaks German and English.

Two widget sizes for iPhone and iPad show the album, artwork, matching vinyl style and a background coloured by the cover. On iOS/iPadOS 17 and later, play and pause Apple Music directly. Tap the album to open its player.

The collection keeps growing.
The native apps are planned to feature more realistic 3D vinyl, more complex pressings, Album Flow and a cover grid. A complete 3D turntable with an animated record placement sequence is planned for larger screens. Apple Watch, Apple TV and CarPlay are planned for later stages after iPhone, iPad and Mac. The new apps and 3D features are not yet available.
